An order placed here is a request to buy, not a purchase. Nothing is charged, held or transferred by sukimo. You and the other person agree the price, the payment and the delivery between yourselves, on whichever app you already use.

That means sukimo cannot refund you, cannot reverse a payment and cannot hold anybody's money in escrow, because it never had it. If something goes wrong with an order, it is between you and the person at the other end — the same as agreeing to buy something in a group chat.

Everything they post. That the item exists, that it is described honestly, that the condition stated is the condition it is in, that they have the right to sell it, and that selling it is legal where they are.

sukimo does not inspect goods and does not verify that anything is genuine. A brand name on a listing is the seller's claim, not ours.

Deciding who to buy from. Ask questions before you pay — every order carries the seller's own contact channels for exactly that reason, and the seller is not obliged to confirm an order.

One account per person. There are no passwords: you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email, so keeping that email secure is what keeps your account secure.

Selling is by invite for now. An invite can be withdrawn, and an account can be closed by us if it is used to defraud people, to sell things that are illegal, or to harass somebody.

Your photographs and words stay yours. By posting them you allow sukimo to store them and show them to other people using sukimo — which is the entire point of posting them — and nothing more.

Do not post photographs you do not have the right to use. A deleted post is kept for seven days so it can be recovered, then removed.

Buying is free and always will be. Sellers pay a monthly subscription; the plans are on the front page. Nothing is being charged yet.

sukimo is provided as it is. We will try to keep it running and to keep your posts safe, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never lose anything, and we are not liable for what you lose in a transaction we were not part of.

These terms will change as sukimo does. The date at the top is when they last did. If a change materially affects you, we will say so rather than quietly reposting the page.

This document was written to be clear rather than to be exhaustive, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you are relying on it for something that matters, say so and we will get it looked at properly.
